Traverse City:
We had a variety of places we could have gotten married. We could have gone back to our roots to the good ol' MSU campus. We could have set out west and enjoyed the California sun or out east where we could have treated everyone to a Maryland Crab Feast! However, no place felt as perfect as Traverse City. Even though we grew up 2,000 miles apart little did we know we grew up visiting family and vacationing only 50 miles away from each other in the wonderful up north Michigan!

Pure Michigan Commercial
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore was named the "Most Beautiful Place in America" on ABC's Good Morning America. It is located about 20 miles west of Traverse City and the park has 35 miles of shoreline with excellent hikes, beautiful views and great beaches to swim!
Local Vineyards
The local vineyards are located on two peninsulas listed below and offer great local wine and awesome views.
Take a ferry on Lake Michigan to Mackinac Island. Only two hours from Traverse City. The island offers the simple pleasures in life. Bike around the island and visit the Grand Hotel.

Turtle Creek Casino, Leelanau Sands Casino, A-Ga-Ming GC, Grand Traverse Resort GC's, plus many more golf courses.
